Dr. Rita Eichenstein is a licensed psychologist with post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology and special education. She specializes in pediatric neuropsychological assessments and parent training skills. Dr. Eichenstein maintains a private practice at Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers in Los Angeles, California. Areas of expertise include learning disabilities,attention deficit disorders, autism spectrum, gifted populations, as well as college students and graduate students, as well as counseling parents of all ages.

With over 20 years experience as a clinician, she is currently in private practice working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are differential diagnosis in children, parent skills training and creative applications of interventions/ accommodations in schools. In addition, Dr. Eichenstein has worked with the Los Angeles County of Social Services and has presented at numerous educational teacher training conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from learning styles, teaching techniques, the effects of television on developing minds, and values-based parenting. Dr. Eichenstein has a strong working relationship with many of the private schools in the Los Angeles area and with colleges across the United States.
Dr. Eichenstein is a practical, interactive, and solution-focused clinician. Her treatment approach is to provide practical information, diagnostic support and practical feedback to help her clients resolve current issues. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon the lastest discoveries in neuroscience, psychological theories and educational research in order to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client.
